While I was growing up, Easter was always one of my favorite times of the year. Being in Choir and Glee Club meant singing in all the church pageants and special performances, I can still close my eyes and smell the Frankincense and Myrrh. Even though I was an only child, egg painting in my house was an occasion, my parents loved hardboiled eggs and always provided a couple dozen for coloring. Oh, how I have missed the scent of the vinegar water, the thrill of watching them turn color. Now I make virtual eggs, also creating new memories.
