At anytime day or night, whenever Jan was sad, Tigerlily would sit on her chest, place her paw on her cheek and purr really loud, as if to say "I am here for you, please don't cry."

Like most feline companions, she loved sharing Jan's bed, but unlike other cats she was not happy until the bedsheet was pulled up to her neck.

Even though she tried, she could never understand why she had to share HER house with Buffy the dog.

A few years ago she left her earthly home for the rainbow bridge, but a large part of her remains in Jan's heart.
